Ive got rubber tody yet i dont now how will play Im primeing the rubber with EE II.
First impresions of the rubber black and red are fantastic and sponge is nice and soft and overall quality looks like first class,hope will play well to!

I really like this rubber too, played with it (glued up) for a season. Only downside is that it's not that fast.

well I want to use XT on my B/H on Juic Air large should be ok I hope.
Tomorrow ill glue rubbers on Air Large then will find out.

I Have been using the XT 2.2 on my forehand with speed glue for a good year and half. I find it realy good for forehand heavy looping. You can generate heaps of spin and very good control. Maybe not super fast, but fast enough for me. When speed glued, it becomes very soft. Nice and light too.

How good is LKT XT compared to Globe 999 National. Spin, speed, control, weight, softness. I use Falco Tempo unlimited speed glue.

I was a big fan of this on the wavestone
then i realised that it was loosing its grip really fast - maybe i was overgluing it......

LKT has a much softer sponge and is much lighter. On slow loops it's just as spinny, on fast loops the LKT runs out of spin as the sponge starts to bottom out. The LKT is definitely easier to control.

I would agre with haggisv globe is more powerful mid and away. One more thing if anyone is planing to use EE II dont put more then two light layers. I put three and ruind rubber.

As I put third layer and went of to queensland for a week when come back
top sheet was all full of bubles and sponge was so slipery like was oil on it.
Glue wouldn't stick on the sponge had to trow rubber in bin.
Lucky I had red one and put only one layer of EE II and was ok.
i guess sponge is wery soft and sucks up EE II wery quickly comperd to harder sponges.

Yes I think that's right... the soft sponges soak it up much more and deeper, and that softens the bond between the topsheet and sponge

I just bought a batch of Chinese inverted rubbers for testing:

LKT PRO XT 2.2 black
LKT Rapid Soft 2.2 black
GeoSpin Tacky 2.2 black
Inspirit Quattro ULTRALIGHT 2.2 SV red

My blade is a locally built 9-ply with soft outer wood. This is a thin, somewhat stiff blade with a shakehand grip that I use Seemiller style. It's probably OFF-. I have Peacekeeper OX on the back.

I tried all but the Rapid Soft at the club last night so here are my findings. Note that I'm a close to the table blocker/over-the-table looper.

LKT PRO XT
Very soft, very light. The slowest rubber of this group. Amazing quality topsheet for a $14 rubber; looks more like the $35-$45 Euro and Japanese rubbers I've bought in the past. This is, by far, the best blocking rubber I've ever used. It's uncanny how easy it is to block hard incoming topspins with PRO XT. Very consistent and easy to use. Imparts huge spin on serves and flick shots though it runs out of gas quickly when I'm off the table a bit. This may replace my current favorite, Joola Mambo C max.

GeoSpin Tacky
A bit harder than the PRO XT, a bit faster too. Quite a bit heavier. Same high quality topsheet. This is indeed very spinny rubber, especially on slower shots and serves. With GeoSpin Tacky (and also the PRO XT), I would hear my just hit ball spinning madly amongst the other balls in the catch net of my robot after strong topspins.. that hasn't happened with other rubbers I've used. Not as consistent as PRO XT but certainly has more power and speed. Given the trade off of the extra weight I'm choosing the PRO XT.

Inspirit Quattro ULTRALIGHT 2.2 SV
Again, very nice quality topsheet. The heaviest of all these rubbers and in another league, speed-wise. I have an IQ UL in max sponge and it was too heavy/fast so I bought the 2.2 but find it to be too heavy and fast as well. Maybe the 2.0? I never came close to bottoming out the dense, springy sponge on the 2.2. For my close to the table game this rubber is simply too fast and hard to control though it's probably ideal for more off the table play or a more skilled player.

LKT Rapid Soft
Another quality topsheet; these are all very impressive for the price. I've only tried this on my robot, and there it seems similar to PRO XT and the Geospin. I'll add more on this one later as I'm sure people are more interested in this one, it being newly introduced to the market.

Glueless, You run a similar rig and grip as mine with the exception of that American Hinoki blade. I'm assuming you started with multi-ply blades before going single. If so, how would you describe the differences and the transition period?

Also, do you grip your windshield on the very edges of the blade or on the pips themselves? If the latter, do you have occasional ungluing problems like I do?
