previously i posted a topic about 729 higher tension tech, i have bought the 729 higher rubber since it was going for a very cheap price $5.99 + $3.95 (pnp)

This is my first time using a chineese rubber  and im wondering how it will be compared to? has anyone used it?

once recived i will make a mini review on it

I thought by now everyone on the forum would be sick of me talking about how good this rubber is ahahaha.

It feels mid-way between Chinese and Japanese, but still producing very heavy spin. It starts off being very, VERY slow, but once the sponge gets broken into, it plays rather nicely, quite lively I'd say.

After a while, I think Higher becomes too fast. Don't get me wrong, it's still has excellent spin and control, it's just that it feels nothing like a new sheet.

My partner was using it as a FH on Persson Power Carbon. Not too fast, but still in the range of the faster chinese ones.Enormous spin capabilities. Can be very unpredictable for your oponent. Becomes a lot nicer with 2-3 layers of EEII. I didn't like the weight of it, though I used it qiute long time on my BH

Well it's relatively light to the traditional Chinese rubbers, so you're looking at mid to low forties.

But seriously, a couple of grams is not going to affect you as much as you think it would.

Is this the Higher with the green transcend sponge? If so, I think you'll find it great for controlled loopping :) Not bad without glue, plays good from off the table as well...

I didn't think they made the higher with the cream/orange sponge anymore... I believe that's quite a bit hard than the green one, and only sold in the chinese local market... You probably won't like it as much for looping...
