Yep, the Avalox P700 receives a very favorable review from me! Relatively soft, fast 7-ply which I think is a good match for medium hardness sponged pips.

Going to transfer my Raystorm and JO Gold here tomorrow; today it received a workout using Pronte (a tad too soft still here, needs harder sponge) and 802 on Avalox Magic A (40*) sponge.

It's as Alex described it -- an upgrade on the P500 in terms of speed and stiffness, without completely losing that soft, easy to hit through 5-ply feel.

(What he said was it's a P500 on steroids, really! :lol:)

I found that P700 blade best for a spin based game.
