Lets make a list of all the blades you'd like to see reviewed or want to see further information on. We can then post about them one by one, and either locate reviews, or hopefully get someone that has tried it, who can write some comments/review. I won't be keeping the list updated here and so I'm relying on the mods to update it for me...

So what blades would you like to see more information on?

Now in action packed alphabetic order!

729 Hao Shuai Carbon (combination)
729 Red Spirit (Kees' legend blade)
729 Two Speed Carbon (combination)

AmSir Titan Salvador

Avallo AVX Taishi C-penh

BTY Holycrown (baby brother of Ishlion?)
BTY Matsushita Pro A (Arylate) (modern defender blade?)
BTY Maze Performance (very popular in Japan)
BTY Micheal Maze
BTY Schlager Carbon Light (had some bad comments but no reviews)

DHS Power 2 (dark outer plys looks like Offensive Classic)
DHS Power 3 (dark outer plys looks like Offensive Classic)
DHS TG-T7 (metal inserts like Boll Tricarbon)(looks like Clipper! Even has dyed red plys)

Galaxy T7

Nitakku Lumilas (soft feeling composite)
Nittaku Tenor (now this is what you call a masterpiece!)
Nittaku Titanbeat
Nittaku Tremendous (Zylon!)

Stiga KevTech WRB or non WRB (KevTech)

Sword Range (the ones suitable for close to the table play)

TSP Award 50 Defensive (weird black cloth and foam)
TSP Bamboo Shot (similar to the BTY Milegra?)
TSP Break 11

Ulmo Die Angel (combination)(and I like its name)

Xiom Michelangelo (I like it's name and its hinoki-ness)

Yasaka Cypress Leo 11 (11ply hinoki OMG)
Yasaka Dynamics 17 (11ply)

Beat that haggisv! Look at the hard work I've put into this!
Posts are about quality, not quantity! *hint of sarcasm*

Jokes, jks, jks! Just in case, jks, jks, jks, jks, jks, jokes.

Poking fun at the admin isn't a very sensible thing to do!

Blade: ?
FH: ?
BH: ?
Excellent idea.

Any of the following please:

1. Sword Range - but particularly ones suitable for close to the table play.
2. The Ulmo Die Angel Off- (because it's a combination blade)
3. 729 Friendship Two Speed Carbon Blade (another combination blade)
4. A few more reviews on the Friendship Red Spirit which Kees has spoken highly about.
5. Xiom Michelangelo

There are occasional reviews of these blades on the internet but i'd prefer to read reviews from people who post on this website especially as it's so "pips friendly"!

Thanks guys, I'll continue asking the mods to update the list. As suggested from another topic (cheers antipip) I will ask the mods to sticky this thread, and mark off rubbers as they are reviewed (with a link to the review) to keep things organised.

No need for it to be stickied RD, I will add it the same as the rubber review request thread into the top section of the review index. You can laways find it there then an its the appropriate place for it.

Now I wonder where the idea for this thread came from....its a good one!

RD, I think you might want to change the title back to the original "blade review requests". I don't think 11 is a better title than what you had!

I tried it when they first came out, It plays nothing like the Allround classic which I now use, less handle transmission of feeling, and very 'top heavy' obviously a larger sweet spot, but it just felt too cumbersome for me, I was expecting more, so I was dissapointed overall. Just my opinion, you might love it :)

Hey, this thread looks familiar  You beat me to it RoosterDragon!

I don't know who changed the title, and what it was changed from, but to have the title similar to my thread about 'rubber review requests' is probably a good idea...

Of course I like the idea of this thread, but I feel we should all just nominate a few blades that we're REALLY keen to read a review on... If you simply list all the blades you can think off, the list will get huge, and we'll never get to the end of it... don't you agree?

I have now actually made a topic which will go down in OOAKF's history!

Yay!

*psst* hopefully no-one sees the similarity to your topic, I mean they are completely different anyway ;D

Fair enough, I listed too many

I'll keep my passion for hinoki in hiding for now!
Mmmmm the TSP Break11 looks tastey!

Thank you DH. A coach I know recommended that blade for me for a LP blocking game. He said I shouldn't have that much trouble handling it because of my size. I'm 6 foot 1 and 240 lbs and I am in pretty good shape. He did say it is a little head heavy.

BTY custom made blades!

Make to order... the weight... the shape... the feel... the dimensions... the wood... etc...

though its really expensive $$$ but it should be the one and only in the world...

So far I have tried a few custom made BTY jpens and they are great!

I've looked at that and that sounds cool but I'm not at such a level in which I need my own custom blade.
