I haven't seen anyone playing with it around here,

BLOWFISH
Quote:
Already after short adaptation time, the short pimples of the BLOWFISH are your weapon to set every opponent under pressure. The new type, aggressive pimple design successfully creates topspins as well as effective block and counterattacking strokes. In combination with the innovative TENSOR
technology, BLOWFISH thrills by an output of speed, not yet experienced with short pimple rubbers. Furthermore, the feelingly soft sponge causes utmost sensibility, ball contact feedback and control. As a result, your performance is accompanied by a huge variety and is extremely unpredictable for your rival.
Soft, fast + variable!

1,8/2,0/max.

BLOWFISH+
Quote:
Due to its slightly harder sponge BLOWFISH+ supports the offensive ambitions of the pimple out player efficiently. Based on unusual broad pimples and the medium-size sponge, this type offers an explosiveness that in a jiffy turns every block
into an effective shot. Another highlight of this pimple geometry is the extreme stability. It prevents the pips from bending down while the ball is hit thus it enables topspins with good spin. While conventional pimple-out rubbers could only offer
these features along with a distinct loss of control the BLOWFISH+ shows strength also in passive playing situations.
For aggressive attack!

1,8/2,0/max.

I was quite impressed with the LOGO short pimples, I wonder how it differs....

Even though Im a little of an Andro fan, I bet they are not that great/unique, maybe similar to Butterfly´s Raystorm and Flarestorm.

seriously, if someone could post a picture of the pips it'd be awesome. I'd like to compare it to say, 802-40.

Raystorm and Flarestorm do not play at all alike, for what it's worth.

What I meant is that the Blowfish seems similar to Ray and B+ to Flare, in description of course, since I havent tried neither of them.

Once, golden fish met blowfish and asked her: "You look like me but how you are so fat?"
"Once I was a kind of golden fish also, but kought by a fisherman, and he said -Yoopee, you fulfill my 3 wishes!. I said - sorry only one.
-Only one!? No sh**t!

Blowfish :
"Already after short adaptation time, the short pimples of the BLOWFISH are your weapon to set every opponent under pressure ..." : RIGHT !
According to my own experience :
- easy to play with
- fast therefore powerful
- disruptive.

{SHORT REVIEW}

I've used this rubber. Andro Blowfish+ (Red)

Okay, so compared to other rubbers such as 802-40/Spectol 21/Superspin pips 21/388-B DaWEI.

It's pretty average.

It's exactly what the definition says, fast, killer fast...

The first thing my coach said when he saw me use it, that it was very inconsistent, i felt it too, you never know where it's going to go.

You could describe it as a classic pips because it does produce dead balls, and isn't affected by spin much at all. Topspins aren't a great idea with this thing. Pushes are okay, average, nothing special though. Flicks, average again.

Service wouldn't be great. There's no deception. My friends didn't even notice i was using a pimple rubber! They just thought that i was using something like BOOST TC, a fast rubber (and hitting flat).

I would rate it a 5.5/10. Compared to something like Spectol, it would be far inferior due to it's inconsistency. And compared to 802-40 or Superspin pips or say, Raystorm, it's also inferior as those pips can at least do a half-decent loop.

That's my opinion though, you could like it, but personally i always recommend that SP's made from Europe are never that good. Think about it, more asians would have played Short Pimple, and that's why the more popular pimples are made from asian manufacturers like Butterfly, TSP, Friendship.

What's spin if you can't reach the ball?
