Guys, no sensible discussion can be made about women, beauty and taste. That's everybody's opinion.

I understand you, Tassie, but you're making too much a deal about it... I didn't find MNNB's statements sexist and a proof of real double standard and I'm quite sensitive about such things. If you want to discuss sexism and related, take a look at a topic on MyTT called "Reason why I don't like women TT". Knock yourself out there! ;)

Everyone knows I like women's pro TT better than men's pro TT because in the women's game there is a lot more diversity of styles and many more pip players.

I don't understand the point of making this video, as there are many better penhold tutorials allready and pretty much any low level penhold player could make a better one than this.

According to the ITTF website, Korean star Kim Kyung Ah is one of the world's most experienced players. I would imagine that there are hundreds of players competing in the world senior championships that got underway today in Sweden who have been playing table tennis longer than Ms. Ah has been alive.


NO WVC STREAMING :swear:

The World Veteran Championships appears to have no live streaming. Unfortunate. You would think organizers would realize that people enjoy seeing the legends of the sport compete. "Senior tours" in golf and tennis are very successful and the same would hold true for table tennis. Much more interesting than that mixed doubles garbage we were force fed over the weekend.

It's already been mentioned that Waldner and Persson are blowing off the WVC. Another notable who would have qualified to be there is Evgueni Chtchetinine, who is instead competing in this week's Challenger Series. Personally I think being a veterans world champion who is still competing in regular top level competition also would open up a lot of endorsement deals. Instead of trying to pretend they're not old, these guys should take advantage of it.
