That's the minimum that a "good" seat would cost you to take in a few matches at the the Olympic table tennis event, keeping in mind that in reality all seats are bad (as in miles away from the action).

I agree the draw distance to watch table tennis is too far away. Table Tennis is a very intimate sport and you need to be much closer than that. It is really unacceptable to put it that far away.

Did anyone see Joo-Jang? I am very curious how they played, if it looked something like Joo vs Wang Xi?

Oh S.U and Ryu win the doubles game!

RSM after spotting a 2-1 game leads flips on hte switch and wipes his hapless opponent all over the floorin the last 2 games enroute to a 3-2 match win and for a Korea 3-1 match winover DPK!

Watchesd the doubles match and the RSM match while eating peanuts/drinking a beer at my club watching the action with my club mates on my Samsung Galaxy note, which is just large enough to accomplish that task...

It was beautiful table tennis with both players alternating between attack and defense. Really enjoyed it.

It shouldn't be a problem grabbing a copy of it. However YouTube is being such jerks about this event, so there doesn't seem to be a good preferably anonymous distribution method. I miss megaupload.

DON'T REPORT IT AND MAYBE IT'LL GO AWAY

The front page of the USATT website proudly proclaims Ariel Hsing's great effort against eventual Olympic champion Li Xiaoxia. The only problem is that was a week ago and since then the USA Team was annihilated by Japan in the Women's Team event and Ariel herself was trounced by Ai Fukuhara. Maybe worth a mention?

Actually Ariel can learn a lot from the Fukuhara match. She plays a very similar game to Li XX, so she should intensively study video how of exactly how Li takes down players like Fukuhara and everyone else. That is like a blueprint for Ariel to move up to the next level. I hope her coaches are planning to do this.
