I doubt ill be getting any mail. But hoping for the presidents team. I'm still aiming for the b team next year. This year was.mostly to test how far away I am, I feel like thats within reach now. Let us know what team your letter says by the way

Blue and foam - I just got off the phone with one of the Vic selectors. I asked him about the Presidents teams and he thought that pretty much everyone who is nominated for a Presidents Team should get a guernsey. I guess you will know tomorrow if you are nominated. He said that they send off the Presidents nominations to TTA/national-selectors who then decide the teams and this process should be finalized in 2-3 weeks. Good luck tomorrow guys!

blue and foam - if you dont get a letter today dont despair. A friend who is one of the top nominations for the O50s Presidents team didnt get a letter today so maybe Presidents members wont know until they TTA have selected the entire team (ie from other states as well). this is just a guess however.

Nope.. nothing in my mailbox this morning! (at least there were no bills either )..

I forgot to mention that the teams are going to be on the TTV website tomorrow.

I'm still too sick to get to the post office but the mail takes a day longer to get this far out in the bush anyway

Dont give up yet foam. A friend who is apparently the top (or one of the top) pick for the O50s Presidents hasnt received anything yet. It could well be that the Presidents selections may not be announced until all other states have put their noms in. There is still hope!

The whisper around the traps on Sunday was that there will be A & B Presidents teams...
And from what I know.. only the actual Vic teams members have been notified so far...

Got my letter this morning...

"After thorough consideration, and an overwhelming response for positions on the team, your nomination has unfortunately been unsuccessful on this occassion"

Oh well.. better train up for Darwin next year!!

From what i've heard.. the O/40s Presidents team(s) will consist of high 1400 point players anyway (and maybe one mid 1300). At least the Victorian contingent anyway...

So... it seems I've got a way to go before I make another national teams event!! Must have just been lucky last year!

I'll be interested to see who in this presidents team, as far as I could work and and Greg worked out the same I was about the first one outside the b team. Got to admit itll be dissapointing not to play after all the mad travelling ive done just to get to the tournaments. But on the other hand im sure I can use that to push myself past the guys that did make it for next years count

Hopefully you get in foam. The only fly in the ointment for your calculations might be if there are a lot of applications for the 50s Presidents and they get filtered into the 40s.
