I am a beginner and looking into buying my first racket and am considering a Pre-assembled DHS. Question I have is whether the rubber can be changed when the original ones wear out, or should I buy blade/rubber to assemble one now. Any suggestions?

DHS has different grades of pre-assembled bats. The 6000's series are quite good (for pre-assembled). Mine was a 6006 with Hurricane 3 and Skyline 2 already on it. I forgot how much I paid for it but it was a good deal. I would not recommend changing the rubbers on a pre-assembled bat because the rubbers are stuck on the wooden blade very tightly and the blade would easily be damaged.
A good DHS pre-assembled bat would still be a good choice for a beginner. Just don't buy the lower grade ones (lesser stars).
Having said that, you can easily get a better combo by doing it yourself.
Welcome to the forum! :)

I was about to buy a DHS pre-assembled bat its rather expensive, you can just buy a blade and 2 rubbers (that suit your style and level of play) and assemble it yourself or ask the store to do it for you.

5000 series are actually quite good. usually H2 and H3 on one side and the other.. even on ebay they sell for around 50 usd but are good build quality. and yes you change the rubbers later on

I'm sure you're right for this one, but I just want to add that with any pre-made bat (a bat that is assembled at the factory), there is never any guarantee that the rubbers are removable, as they are designed to be used until they're worn out, and then the bat to be replaced completely. I've seen many where permanent glues are used, so the rubbers are not removable.

I've just received confirmation from DHS that the rubber on the 5000 can't be changed later on because of the type of glue used.

well you can scrape off lol, some premade blades will splinter others are ok,
a better option is get a blade and rubber put together by a table tennis shop or website , that way you can choose a forehand and backhand rubber to suit your level/ style and what level you want to achieve

I've replaced many premade rubbers, each time I do it I ask myself if it's really worth the hours of labour to replace the rubbers on a junk blade? and each time I say no it isn't. For whatever reason it doesn't stop me stupidly doing it again later on :^)

I'd tell anyone else to just work somewhere for a few extra hours and buy a good blade to begin with
