Hello everyone,

I'm returning to TT after a significant absence and I'm finding my old bat hard to loop with.

I use a Donic Ovtcharov Senso, the 7 ply with a walnut outer. It's fast and stiff. I've got Palio Thor's black on the FH (one of the earliest batches) and it's lost most of it's tack. I love the spin I can produce with it, but it's too firm on this blade. I have Blitz on the BH and I've always found it kind of dead and gripless, maybe I've glued it poorly.

I've been looking at two blades:
TSP Gaia
Darker Serio

I would like a maximum of 157mm head length and I'd like about 85g in weight. I think these blades match that criteria. But I'm not sure how the power, dwell and control would compare to my ovtcharov.

And these rubbers:
FH: Xiom Tau, T05, Rhyzm
BH: T05, Rhyzm

I'm looking for better dwell on the FH and better grip on the BH. I'd like to be able to block, counter and loop on the BH and mostly loop / drive on the FH. Can anyone make a suggestion?

Thanks

Looks like nobody has any suggestions. So I got the Serio with t05.

The blade should be a bit softer and more flexible and i like the high throw and grip of t05. I will report back and let you know what I think.

Haha, I learned with bats like that! 729 tack speed, sp, 999 etc. It is a great way to learn how to generate your own spin and power.
