first impression is that the blade itself seems like:

an over sized blade.
finished quality is not in the same league as say BTY products
the fibres are not grounded off nicely, it slightly protrudes from the cut edge.
the handle seems very small but comfortable to hold.
overall, IMO it seems like an over priced blade.

glued on a sheet of boosted lkt Xt and a sheet of andro impuls sp and had a go.

it felt head heavy (as suspected) even with two very light rubbers.
this is probably exagerated by the small handle.
this blade had heaps of control and very decent speed when required.
anyway, i did not like the head heavy so i went and shaved about 1.5mm off the blade.
reglued the rubbers to it and had another go.
it felt a bit better balance wise and the control was still the same. it was a little more stiffer.
i took the lkt xt sheet off and put on another sheet of max andro impuls sp (boths sides max) and had another go.
the quality improved slightly.
topspin was coming off a bit quicker with a bit more of a kick and blocking seems better as well.
the speed of balls coming off it is very good. it may be deceptive but it seems to be coming off very slow? (comparing to say BTY ISHLION blade).
nittaku calims that the fibre (zylon?) absorbs energy better than arimid/arylate and is very elastic... i think it is true as i have not tried any blade that kills the pace of an opponents incoming ball as good as this.
though it does seem a bit slower then the ishlion, it sure had more control and dwell time is heaps better.
i think i might have to give it another few more session to understand it better, but i sure hate the small handle it comes in.
i might even try to custom two handle pieces for it and see how that goes.

It's a chinese made blade.

Hi Ish, nice review mate. Can't you wrap a thick grip tape around the handle to thicken it up, or is it also too short? If its too short you may be able to add a piece to the end shaped like the handle, it will help the balance problem too. If you then wrap a tape, it will appear as one solid piece. I've done this a couple of times now and it works quite well. Just glue the peice on and masking tape it to hold. Then go over the whole handle with grip tape. This is assuming thats the kind of result you are happy with of course.

I've got one. Here pro and contra.

contra: my exemplar is with 90g quite heavy
contra: it is quite head heavy
contra: the handle is quite thin and rough

despite all these contras it has a great touch, not too elastic, not too stiff, worked great with T64 (1.7mm on forehand), and even produced some sound with T64, which made me wonder! Overall this combo is abit too fast for me.

That's right. Nittaku made in Japan blades are top notch quality.
Try Wiltria, Rutis, Torua, Feruku or Violin family.

I’ve sold my Tremendous, regretted it, since the touch was outstanding. I re-bought this blade. Again it is 90g and abit heavy, but my wrist muscles don’t care anymore. I agree that it absorbs energy, and this has something to do with the touch it offers. But nevertheless it is a blade with speed around TBS or even abit above. Off to Off+. Love it. Beware of glueing bouncy and fast rubbers on it!
