OOAK Table Tennis Forum

As discussed in another thread that many of you may not have seen (http://forum.oneofakindtrading.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=3088&start=0) we're building a table tennis link directory containing links to all table tennis related websites and information.

Although there are already a few table tennis links lists around already, none seem to be organised and catagorised, making it very hard to find anything.

Reb (RebornTTEvnglist) in particular and few others have already done some great work on this getting the main catagories organised and have started adding links.

It would be great if everyone could add a few links, or at least a link to your own club website...

If there are any with some basic website experience here, it would be great to get some help to make it look a little better as well...

Yeah, the best way to help out is to click on the directory link Haggisv has shown and when the site comes up just click on the suggest a site and type in the name and link and a brief description. That would help a lot guys, Thanks.

Please add USA as one of the option in the Manufacturer. I tried putting killerspin and Newgy but couldn't because no USA option and I don't want to put it in the OTHER section.

I've been adding links for Custom Made Blades Makers in the OTHER section (of the Manufacturer). Please feel free to move them in the appropriate category (if you want to make a new category for Custom Made Makers).

Also, is there anyway to edit the description of the links submitted? I've been putting links with minimal descriptions. Perhaps putting more descriptive description would help more. So how do I edit them? Or one of the mods could edit the descriptions for me. Feel free to do so.

I've added USA as a manufacturer. if you need another catagory, click on the 'suggest catagory' link at the top.

Thanks for all the new links rokphis2! There's already a few sites I had never seen!

Only admin can edit descriptions I'm afraid. We check each link as it comes in, and change the decription a little if needed.

If anyone finds any mistakes, please let us know as well.

As I mentioned before, it would be great if everyone here could at least add their club website... this will make the directory very useful already!!!

I'll try to put in better descriptions next time to make it easier for you all to edit them. Meanwhile feel free to edit a little (or a lot in this case cause i've only put a one liner descriptions so far...).

I'm just glad to get the links in there! I reckon most of us know of a few links that others have never seen... so if we can get those all in there, it will be a great source of information!

I've installed a thumbnail addon, so it now shows a preview of the site... looks a lot better, but the rest of the site could sure use a face-lift...

Since Reb hasnt' yet replies, I'll tackle this one...

It would be great if you can submit links to the directory... any table tennis links you you know, ro you come accross, please add the to the directory... This is the most important step to make the directory useful and important, and the better it becomes, the more others will hopefully contribute as well, making this potentiall the most comprehensive tabletennsi directory on the web!

Adding a link is simple... just click on "submit link", out in the website name, url and a very brief description. You can ut in a fake email and name if you wish. The pick the catagory that it should be in, and type in the letter in the catcha, them press submit. Reb or me will check it before it goes in and shows up in the list...

If you (or anyone else) have any experience in given the directory a bit of a facelift, that woud be awesome too...

Thanks RM, that'd be great if you can do what Haggis has suggested. If you surf a lot then hopefully you have come across stuff that might be in your bookmarks/favourites that you can directly submit.

That goes for anyone else. Please check out the links site and compare to see if you have anything bookmarked that isn't yet linked. Would be a great help (and you can clear off your bookmarks and just bookmark the link site from now on - WHAT A GREAT IDEA! )

This site seems to be growing, but only slowly If you haven't yet submitted your site, it would be great if you can do it...
