The new ball approval list was released on July 3rd 2018, which now includes D40+ balls in orange. Hopefully they'll be released soon, and the other (re-badged) ones will follow.

Yeehah! One of the venues I habituate has white walls. We have been using white 40+ balls. I'll have to get the committee next week to get these orange balls for when we run out of the white ones, which may be sooner than expected :) . At the moment we are using no-name 1 star 40+ balls.

Not very soon it would seem.

Apparently there are none approved yet, and depending on who you listen to white seamless 40+ are on their way out.

Just a rumour ... a malice fib.

ADHAM SHARARA GUILTLESS ...

Mrs. In Sook Yoo , Dr. Joachim Kuhn's wife, was allegedly the patent holder, for the year 2013.
ITTF President Mr. Adham Sharara was involved in no way in the case of poly balls...

For more information on the case see here, please:

http://ooakforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=22818

NOTE:
Dr. Kuhn of Germany, a person in charge of balls matter within ITTF for over 20 years, retired in 2013.
