Hi,
I am looking for a C-pen blade which is very good for looping. What are your recommendations ?
Currently I have the following C-pens : Violin, Roots 5, Roots 9, Virtuoso, Taksim and Amultart.

And NONE of those are good for looping? Maybe go for what Xu Xin uses, perhaps? It's a Stiga somethingoranother.. probably has ebony or some other hardwood on the face.

Violin ..... pure-wood blade ?
Taksim, Amultart ..... composite blades ?

Surely the Violin would make a better "loop" blade than the arylate composites ?

Also personally as a beginner,

I find that soft inner-core + hard top-plies makes more loop-drive and smash possible.

While hard/medium inner-core + soft top-plies makes All-Round game possible.

More flex or springy a blade will make it easier to loop but not drive or smash as effectively.

Does anything I said make sense ? Correct me please :-D

I am sure there is always something better out there but the Violin loops like a dream.

Thank you all for your comments, so I would choose Violin, meaning that I do not have to buy a new blade :)

Blade: DHS Long 2

In general,
Root 5
Violin
Virtuoso

Probably better starting point than the other three.
