I play vs a guy using that rubber. He has great control. He sends me some really strange balls.

Thank you. I've read about long pips, and the wobble effect, etc. Does this rubber do that?

don't think there is any rubber that costs $200. the best LP that costs less than $15 is Bomb Talent, imo. It is as good or better than some pips 2-3 times its price. If you want something ~$20, try Dragon Talon or Dornenglanz.

You will be surprised. He uses that ergonomic shaped blade sold at Zeropong.

Dtecs is clearly the most deceptive IMO, ans although it costs more than $20, it highly durable, much more durable than many Chinese LPs.

It doesn't sound like you've used long pips before. If that's the case, I would go with a classic, cheap Chinese pip (like 755, 837, or 1615) with no sponge and just focus on learning how to control and use long pips. It's the tactics and techniques you employ that make pips tricky more than anything else. Once you've got a handle on things, you can start to focus more on discriminating between different types of pips...

I've, quite recently started playing with a Dawei 388D and it seems to give back, more than average amount reversal, wobble, weird trajectories... This is not just my observation, but also the feedback received my several opponents, from different levels of play.

I've played with Dtecs (on a VKMO) too (I borrow a friend's, from time-to-time.. It's too expensive for me, to buy) ... To me it seems that the 388D gives-back better reversal than Dtecs, and same with weird-trajectories.... However, the Dtecs has that certain brake-effect, which I've not seen any other LP produce... It just seems to mess with the opponents timing... Also, for me, the Dtecs was better and more dangerous at Passive-Blocking...

I've heard quite a bit about Bomb Talent...but been dilly-dallying about ordering it, for quite a while...

How does it compare to LPs such as 388D-1, 388D, and Dtecs, in real-life playing scenarios (not just on-paper)
