Nice pictures of this old beauty, I actually do prefer this Gergely to the Gergely21, but these days it is getting rarer to find... any chance on letting us know where abouts you got it from?

You'd be hard pressed to find a fast tamca blade that doesn't have outer hinoki or cypress plies.

Only non hinoki tamca blade that springs to mind is the Kumpuru...

The Gergely has a pretty small head doesn't it? The Long A Tat sent me I think he said was off his Gergely and it couldn't stretch across any of my blades properly. Nice looking blade though I agree. Should be for the price lol.

Vali I just mentioned in another thread that I hadn't seen you for a while...and here you are LOL. :wink:

My Gergely has a size of 160 x 150 (I measured it with the rubbers and film protection on, so I can miss 1 or 2 mm).

Actually , Gergely has a large head.

You can buy it here Chonam97. Looks like they have them in stock at the moment. I'd hurry cos they often don't have any. I have 3 of them, which I love each and every one :l:
