Nice looking blade. The grain direction is exactly as it should be, too. Ah.. I thought it was made by that company called American Hinoki at first.. is it still in operation? This is a Taiwanese blade, made out of American wood I think.

This is made by (or at least sold by) "I love ping pong" shop. Blade is in perfect condition but goes for half of the price. The glue residue visible on the pic are long gone :) I am actually surprised that it takes so long to sell it for $20 USD

I am not pretending to be an expert, as to my knowledge the wood used here is a softest kind of cypress from which blades are made. So even for 9mm this blade class is OFF-. On the imaginary scale of cypress hardness the next one is famous Kiso (which I also sell - MIYABI). But Kiso being 8mm is faster.

I hardly imagine someone making a TT career using 1 ply ... but as a spare blade for fun and humble collection member the Tigress is quite good. Also it does have engraving on the handle saying "in pai" for those who understand :)
