THANK YOU, Tibhar.

Yea. it looks some crazy flame green colouration. One cant fool opponent any more just by twiddling.. Thank you, Tibhar.
Colour vision of green is far better than of red. Table tennis is all about science, --mechanics. physics, psychology ; Medicality.

Sounds good.
May be difficult to beat the old defplay dtecs comb though :D
i tried this in the past and its decent-dtech chop on f/h twiddle works fine aswell

It won’t get much use if it is not as good as the Defplay set up. I am finding it more difficult to block at the table against really good players.
The forehand side will be good for that and I am going to chop a bit more in the future. I took the advice of my suppliers.
Those Green pips are Bobby Dazzlers.
Bulldog.

The green color is called acid green. Some call it puke green. I found it a great enticement to get this LP after 15 years of using other LP's. Right now there are very few brands with available with the new colors.. The green for the Tibhar Grass and the Blue for the Donic Bluestorm are great marketing tools for sure.

I have used DTecS ox for many years. I thought it would be fun to have the green pips for a change. Looking forward to using them in training from Boxing Day onwards.

I'm testing the Acid Green in OX since October, 1st on the Turbo 82. Before I played Red OX. The green one is different in feeling and imho definitly more controlled than red and black, but still as nasty. I use it bh (on foil, not the original), playing close to table. It still breaks the rythm of the opponents, nice for counters vs backspin.

Subject Green Grass is a little bit misleading as the second LP rubber available in green is named KAMIKAZE LONG GREEN GRASS EDITION from Der Materialspezialist. It came little bit later on the market but is also certified by ITTF since Oct, 1st. The color of the Kamikaze is different but also nice. I'll test it next year as we have still lockdown in Austria.

First knock with Green Grass DTecS ox on the VKM today. I had a very encouraging session. A lot of under spin when chopping and pushing over the table. Good control on block and chop-block. Able to pick up and drive under spin balls from my opponents. Excellent return of serve today. For a new blade it went amazingly well.

Maybe it's a little bit more difficult to feel the difference between the green and the red/black DtecS when mounted on different blades, but I guess you should have sensed that the green is a little bit harder, with more control and similar "FX".
At least this is what I have found.

Agreed. The blade might well have produced some of that feeling of control.
The colour is excellent. My club mates loved it.

The title of this thread reminded me of this:

"And down the road I look and there runs Mary
Hair of gold and lips like cherries
It's good to touch Tibhar's green Grass Dtecs.."

RATHER BAD CHOICE.
Players of real wisdom will keep their hands away of the green pimples. GREEN is the best "warning coloration" to unmask the twiddler..
Thank you, Tibhar. The pimpled Reptilian lost its toxic teeth.

Blade: Tsp Black Balsa 3.0

I've got the green 0.5 Detecs on black balsa 3.0, it's drawing attention.
It's a bit livelier than I'm used to but after a few hours I'm getting to know what it's good at.
Good reversal, even with passive block against topspin.Only slight spin sensitivity ,easily manageable, moving from down to up against underspin serves gives a nasty short ball low over the net with sinking consistently. serves to wide f hand were much easier to return than with any other pip I've tried.sideswipe return lands close to endline. The best thing for me was punch attack ,very good for this and no one got these back.
The overall feel is harder than I expected compared to 388d 0. 5.
I will do a side by side comparison next session, against each player 1 game with each rubber, the 388d will be boosted 1 layer of Falco long :Chop:
