Hey guys played with both: red & green and is more or less the same rubber. I think there’s a lot of placebo effect. I'ts not a cheap rubber so be care for your giving advice to people thinking there is the holy grail.

I used a green dtecs for a while, after using red and black. I didn't think there's was much difference, to be honest. Any difference is mostly shock and awe :)

My friend went from red to green, and preferred red, and went back to red.

Regardless of the colour, dtecs is an excellent rubber, which rewards perseverance. It's not easy to play with, and it's expensive, and you're unlikely to slap it on and instantly master it.

I am not convinced the colour is anywhere close to the top handful of variables that will predict your success with it.

Any effect the green colour has is entirely psychological. One thing for sure is that if you are not on top of your game then it is a difficult rubber to play with.

I think you are right. This is only a psychology.
Maybe when you are PRO player, you can feel the difference between colors but this is only my imagination about this ;)
