yes charmander, P1r is more faster, more dangerous.

I suspect that the sponge of the victas is softer

I am thinking in buy a P1v and attach a sponge harder (0,5 and 56-58º hardness

I also hope that when the victas get older it will be more similar to the TSP... otherwise I don't know what I'm going to do.

In 2024 P1r will be unauthorized.

I have tried with Superwall, Stiga Horizontal 55 and Donic Spike p1 as possible substitutes of P1r but
the tests were bad.

Maybe I try with Donic Piranja 0X.

I agree 100%.P1v is slower. The sponge is softer.I suggest you get a harder sponge for your P1V.I don't think piranha ox is a good substitute for your kind of game.Victas seems to be lying about the P1v being identical so people continue contributing to the P1r business.I bet 1.000.000 $ the pros using p1v are using a harder sponge, well, they have their combos customized anyway.

the pips are thicker in the TSP Curl P1R (20%), is very different.
The hardness of TSP is 55º, in Victas I don´t know. Maybe that the hardness is the same but and the problem is the dimensions/rubber. I don´t know

The dimensions of Spike p1 is more similar to TSP.

Very bad Victas!!!!!

And both sheets are equally used? Because P1R's pips get larger after a certain period of usage.

That probably explains the pips difference in thickness.

I've been playing with P1-R for 6-7 years now and the pips expansion has always been the case.

I also think the P1V sheet has been updated, a new sheet having more grip than a new sheet of P1-R. But if anything I find that to be a good thing with the plastic junk balls, not a bad thing.

I'm not ruling out that there are differences between P1R and P1V for example caused by changes in manufacturing process. But as mentioned earlier in the thread the difference between a new and old sheet of PR1 and a new and old sheet of P1V is much larger than the difference between P1R and P1V. So if you want your P1V to be faster and less spinny just play with it for a while : )

Here is a non scientific illustration of how I feel that P1R and P1V changes over time (mostly been using 1.0 mm). Disclaimer: I also have not compared P1R and P1V of the same age, but when replacing P1R I was just as chocked by how slow and spinny it was as I am now when replacing P1V. And as you can see on the earlier photos you can even see how the pimples becomes worn down and smoother over time.
Image

Maybe I'll glue up an old P1R and an old P1V just to double check some time (don't have any new P1R unfortunately) :)

Why would you do anything like that?

I like PR1 but in year 2024 will be not valid (Victas has bought TSP).
