Does anyone know what blade, long pips and inverted rubbers Liu Song from Argentina currently uses?

Blade: Bty Gergely T5000
FH: TSP Regalis Blue Max
BH: Tibhar Grass Dtecs
I'd say superhappyfunslider would as he commented in another thread he would like to play like his style, which I assume means he has a fair idea of what the guy does (so it follows he would know what he does it with  ).

I try to play that style as well. Never saw Liu Song play previously and just saw a couple of his matches on itTV in the 2010 Men's World Cup.

I think fh was a hurricane type, though I think Joola say it's Drum or Drum CWX.

Blade: WRM Gokushu2
FH: S&T Secret Flow 1mm
BH: S&T Monkey ox
According to joola.de he plays...
Blade: Rosskopf Emotion
FH: Express One
BH: Octopus

Of course, these manufacturer claims are often dubious.

Thanks for the replies so far. I thought Octopus was intended more as a chopping LP, not a close to the table chop/block type of LP?

I found it interesting that he never twiddled in the 2 matches I saw and mostly tried to run around his BH to loop with his inverted FH. He didn't really bring his LPs into play that much.

Stylistically, he reminded me of a traditional penholder who doesn't have an RPB, preferring to use his FH to attack as much as possible.

In general, Penhold players use forehand most of the time. Backhand is used only occassionally.

I think he trained as a chopper and he's kept the equipment even though his style isn't much like chopping any more.

I've seen a close up of his blade a while ago and it was definiely butterfly def II. I doubt if he changed blade when joola gave him money, maybe rubber.

What strikes me his how long and hard his 'chop block' is. sometimes he raises the blade to face height or more.

Interesting study opportunity on ittf tv, 6 matches from easy wins to easy losses.
