I think that Nittaku DO Knuckle vs DO Knuckle Super is a great example even though they're technically MP. Essentially the same rubber but the pip alignment is different. I absolutely love DO Knuckle Super and can chop with it quite successfully (but will wait until next summer until I transition as league is in full swing). My adventures with the regular DO Knuckle has been a disaster when facing real opposition. Chops go high and not really that loaded with backspin.

(... but then again Sato uses DO Knuckle so it probably comes down to my crappy technique)
