TTbuddy,

The review from martinspin about the Bomb Talent give very low score. I also looked at the video. The players who played are about 1400 rating ( canada Rating) We can't see really what the rubber can do against very good spin and speed.

It look you can do everything with it but is it effective against higher players ? I don't know a single pro who play with that rubber. A video with higher player would be good to see.

TTbuddy"]Hi Maddrag, I am certainly very, very, very far from pro level (and so are most of the forum members here with due respect). I am pretty sure Liu Song used BT at pro level . I accept and respect MartinSpin's low score rating of it, but IMHO and at my low-mediocre level it gets a

You can try the Kokutaku 911 OX or 0.5 mm. I am using OX on a faster blade and 0.5 mm on a slower blade.
911 can chop, block and attack with flat hit or even loop very nice.
911 also offers very good spin reversal.
Best of all, 911 is quite cheap.

Hi Vietma,
I agree with you definitely. Control at blocking and aggressive hitting was sensational with very strong sinking effect. After the first training with a Kokutaku 911 0,6mm on my very hard and stiff T2 blade I was convinced about that I found my best attacking long pips. Unfortunately on my second training I lost more than 10 pips. I am thinking about I should use a softer blade or should stick it with thicker sponge(1,2mm?), but I am afraid of I will lose the feeling and effect also. :(

I like that guy linked to by TTbuddy about six posts back, illustrating BT OX. But he has posted similar videos of himself using P1R OX. For example, viewtopic.php?f=39&t=25698 .

In "Best of #1" (if you follow the link to the video) he says he's using BT OX, so I guess "Best of #4" at the above link must be with P1R OX. Maybe some of you can tell from the color.

Friendship 755

Yes, you're right. In "Best of #4" he plays the P1r OX.

Liu Song is playing with Bomb Talent ox.

Liu Song uses Bomb Talent... its fact...
but he almost dont use his bh
95% his strokes are inverted fh (or even more than 95%)

there are some high level players thats uses LP OX
i like this guy cause his style is similar to my Jian Li (viewtopic.php?f=35&t=29912)

Particularly what long pips does she play as it seems very effective for chop blocking and attacking

I attack well with CK531a in 0.6mm. I can't do it so well with ox. But I don't get much reversal and nastiness.

So reading through pages of forums. I believe the reason CK531a are good for attacking is that they are quite close together 16 per sqcm and they certainly feel very stiff.
I want to try something with a bit more reversal and deception.

I am thinking GD Meteorite which are very similar in size and spacing but a little softer. Is this a good route to try.

TSP PH, look interesting but that would be an expensive mistake

I mainly passive block counter hit and always try and hit short or high or float and top spin balls. I do not chop block and have no interest in doing so.
However my attacking shots especially against flat players are too much like normal inverted shots but slower.

They are going on a stiga infinity as I do not want to mess up my fh too much.
