I have great control on my 10mm thick balsa for chop blocking.

Yes, once I got used to Pogo (OX) on the blade, the control was good... However, the same is not the case with the 388D-1 (OX) on this blade...

@LOOPOVER : you use globe 979 right? where do you buy it? i know aliexpress sells only $7 but very bad quality, broken pips happens only like 3 games.

Trouble Maker is a good control oriented pip, but it's not that "disruptive" except for slowing the pace down a bit. This player has a great forehand and moves very well, almost all of his points were from attacking with that forehand. It works for his style because when the opponents were put off by the pace, he jumped on the ball and moved to use his forehand. You can play Trouble Maker, but you'd better be active like him.

I play with Toublemaker 0,5 on a Victas Koji Matsushita Defensive blade.

The best setup I have had, very easy to block passive and short like the video posted above. Very easy to attack with too. Not the best for chopping but thats not my style anyways.

I dont think OX gives so much more reversal so its worth over 0,5, and 0,5 gives a better touch and more possabilities.
