It seems it is not easy to find an off blade suitable for TM .Maybe, ALL / ALL + is the perfect set up with a thin sponge not superior to 1.5 mm ....

TSP Trinity Carbon is what I use it on, works a treat!
I've been playing with it for a few months now... so the novelty that you get from trying a new LP has well and truly worn off, and I'm still using it, and like it even more than when I first tried it.

What is the thickness of rubber which you use on the forehand?
I use an all round blade and play with 2.3 max to give me speed and spin. I have tried thinner rubbers but find these too slow and not enough power on attack.

Thank you for the info,.... I will try to find the Yasaka Ma Lin Soft Carbon,...in the meantime, I will be playing in a tournament tomorrow where I will meet high level players,... this will be a good opportunity to test TM ,.....What it can offer when things do get serious ,......
Good luck :Chop: :topspin: :Chop: :topspin: :cash: Please post your impression about TM tested at the pressure of the tournament
Just come back from a great tournament with great offensive players ,..... for my style, chopblocking, pushing,.... attacking back spin with anti or pips,.. Tm really needs an off blade or All + .... ALL or DEF blades will just yield easy balls .....not very dangerous for my opponents,.... and they made very few mistakes .......

However, when I played against pip players,.... Tm was great in the rallies, great control pip against pip ..so I will be using Tm just against pip players on a def blade because spin reversal is not so important when dealing with opponents with long or short pips,.. in the rally you do not feel uncomfortable at all,... and the longer the ball is on the table the more possibilities you have to win the point ,......

Therefore, I must try the Trinity Carbon or Yasaka Malin to see if Tm excels for my style ,....

So in the middle of the tournament I changed back to DG,... and what a difference!! they started to make lots of mistakes,.. my pushes were more dangerous and uncomfortable and the spin reversal was far, far superior to Tm,..... we need to know if Tm on these two blades can be on a level with DG ,...only then can we say Tm is a great rubber against high level attackers ,......

Well, I'd better try the Trinity plus TM ,..then, we can exchange more impressions if you play the same style as me

I'm gonna try TM on the Butterfly Andrzej Grubba next week. Hopefully I can get some of that Kostadinovic magic, although he uses Donic Piranja which, unlike TM, is a pretty disruptive pip.

I use Victas 401 in 2.0mm on forehand, which is quite a heavy rubber too.

I've had a lot of success with the TM on a defensive blade, the Donic Defplay Senso V3. When actively chop blocking it imparts a lot of spin reversal and takes off the pace of the ball. It's pretty good to attack with too, either through lifting, traditional hitting or punching the ball. 2000 level players note how well it drops the ball short with that blade/rubber combination.

Just in case I cannot get the Trinity carbon here, I wonder if it is available in the ooak shop.Thank you.By the way, I don't think TM is superior to DG at high levels. I wonder if TM + Trinity carbon can be on a level to ,DG ,because in my recent tournament,DG has proven to be lethal whereas TM, just shone against pip players.I would like to know if TM becomes as dangerous as DG since I like its grip, control and slowness.Thank you!

I understand but we are talking here about higher levels.About 2600-2800 USA.Those are the kind of players I have met this weekend! TM on my Def blade ( TSP 2.5 balsa ) was nearly a joke

Call it what you will....... Let's call them very very very intelligent highly trained, high level players  .......close,close ,close, to semi- pro players............ You have the right to disbelief!!

If they were 2600-2800 US level players, they are likely going to destroy any pips on any blade.

Well, USATT 2600-2800 players aren't "close to semi-pro" but international level players.

For example, Puerto Rico's Brian Afanador, who was IITF #174 in 2016, was rated USATT 2661.
Quadri Aruna was rated 2801 in 2017.
In his prime, Eugene Wang was ITTF #58 in 2014 and rated about 2800 USATT.

Here, they play in the second most important league.... I call semi pro to those players who do not live only on tt.They are paid by the games they play, the victories....I seem to remember to have said " close to semi- pro " anyway.....

Let us now discuss Troublemaker and not the players who do not play with Troublemaker. Otherwise this will distract from this thread.
