This guy is a left handed player and his forehands come as sidespin loops. I chop to his forehand side with my long pips, his push, he gets a floated ball obviously, but I get ready to try and chop it, and he does his really fast sidespin topspin close to the table, does my bat direction need to go to the left to the left to counter his sidepsin, sort of like kong linghui's serve he has on the backhand ???

His left handed fh side spin wants to kick out to your right when you contact the ball. So I would say you need to aim more for the right side of the ball to counter that angle. If you block on the left side of the ball it will go flying off almost in a straight line to your right.
