Has anyone noticed much difference in OX LP speed/control between SP and inverted on the FH with roughly the same sponge thickness and maybe hardness.

I have been trying Punch and Allround Premium 2 on a new Bloodhound blade but with Waran on the FH in 1.5mm and 1.8mm there is not enough dwell with the LP. Would something like 80fx in 1.9mm help slow down the LP side?

A hard sponge, whether in inverted or Sp will definitely increase the loss of control in the LP side.It is not only a question of thin or thick sponges....the key thing is the hardness or softness of the sponge on the FH side.

Try this test: Haifu dolphin 2.1 hard sponge+ long pip( slow like Stachelfeuer)....then,change the Haifu pip for any Sp or inverted with soft sponge.....the difference is enormous......I repeat, just look for a softer sponge
