Why do you say it is in decline? It may or may not be, but just because a business is for sale does not mean it is in decline.

I have no idea of the reason in this case, but it could simply mean, for example, that the owner wishes to retire and sell the business as an ongoing concern?

They were one of the leaders during the frictionless pips era. Hallmark Original rivaled Dr. Neubauer Super Block as the greatest FLP ever.

I would not promote these companies on aliexpress... it's because of these companies selling the products cheap out the backdoor, that are the cause of innovative companies like Hallmark are struggling.

That's Eacheng, by the way. These sheets are probably older sheets, what's left over from the factory after Hallmark switched over to some other model. And they probably don't have the special treatment (probably epoxy-coated tips) that Hallmark did to them to make them "special", back in the day. They probably play like plain old long pips. Still, if you can figure out how to treat the sheets... they should still be usable even if you can't legally use them in a tournament.

It does say they're building a new website... perhaps they're doing something else TT related?

Shame, I purchased few things from Steve. Good service too. My super special ox was a killer !! Still got his combi blade which I think is a great blade. Also have an aurora oversized. Learnt a bit from his vid also learning the art of pip play.

Did anyone try Hallmark Super Special from Aliexpress. Is it frictionless version or not?

Actually, if no one knows I will order it. :-)
But I am not sure what to expect - should it be completely frictionless as Super Block, or should it have just frictionless tops with grippy sides, as Tibhar Grass Devil? When I saw Super block extreme on Neubauer's site I sold my last ten Scalpels since I thought I can rely on Super Block for the good, but after I sold it, Super Block Extreme dissapeared from Dr's web site, so I now only have 3 Super Blocks and one Scalpel, so maybe when this stock is gone, I could rely on this Hallmark if it is frictionless completely, I will definitelly order one to try, but if it is good I will not coment it here since ittf could ban it from aliexpress... :-)
