indeed, a very awkward style to play against ...

Here's a clip of another odd player, I've been playing with, lately .... I just can't beat him ... I've come pretty close, but no win...

https://youtu.be/kHUUe2iu7RA

The video is not the best quality... Also, I'm not one of the players..

Both the players are state-ranked Vet players.

Check-out the guy in the black'ish Tee.... Plays with an inverted on one side, and some version of 802-40 on the other.... He has virtually no BH, and will hit anything an inch over the net ... His grip is badminton-style... He seems a bit out-of-sorts in this match, but he's a complete cracker of a player..

The player in the blue tee, plays with DMS power-pipes on the FH, and some obscure chinese LP (Never heard of it) on the BH...I don't recollect the name...

Ryan Gibson, this stormy boy, he's taken over a lot from Seemiller's playing school. He even superior to the master-model, indeed.

Seemiller's style still alive and kicking. Many people do think the way he holds the racket an annoying abnormality, some insane deviance from a good sense. Same for me, sorry ...

Funny, gman just sent me a text about this guy. He looks difficult to play and has good touch in blocking. There's another video of him playing a chopper and he has to "Loop" (for lack of a better term) with the pips.
He seems to receive most serves with the DTECS on the forehand.

Also, he actually plays with a variant of the seemiller grip, some have dubbed the "Ann Alvarez" grip.

Here he is in 2018 vs. the chopper I spoke of. (BTW he uses black for the pips in this video, now he uses RED pips).

"Cape Fear" now sounds very appropriate.

To be clear...Ryan not superior to Seemiller, who is about 4 levels better than Ryan...currently. ;) Although, we may have lost something in translation here. :)

Does anyone know the name and/or playing level of that guy. I'm arguing with friends about his level.. I say 2100+ and they say 1800 max..
