I am using rubber Giant Dragon Talon National Team now. What can you recommend for a replacement?

In my experience D’Tecs and Talon have similar playing characteristics. Viper is a little bit more of a all rounder LP in comparison to D’tecs.

How is the speed compared to Detecs? Is Detecs faster than GDT?

I played with GD NT. It is a fantastic blocking rubber.I am happy with TM and DG now.I will come back to it in the near future . Let me tell you the Achilles' heel is the no spin ball, especially those with speed; yes, this is true for all Lps but in the case of GD NT it performs really poorly . I think twiddling is a must unless the no spin ball is slow .

I think D. Tecs is a bit faster than GD NT .

Pushblocker is right in all his comments about this rubber .Let me tell you it is far more expensive than Regular Talon .I'd say about 12 / 15 more € .

Hmmm...

Wow.. no wonder the original poster wants to find a replacement. That's expensive. About what you'd pay for a cheaper Tensor like Rakza 7.

Wonder what THIS is like:

"Snowflake", these days, is an insult..
