AliExpress? It will take 2-3 weeks to arrive, and I don't know if British Customs will hold it up to make you pay VAT, though.

AliExpress has been my goto source, for most TT equipment... So far, I've been using, mostly Chinese equipment .. However, this time, I want to go west ... I guess, mostly due to the buzz around the Grubba All Blade, DG, and TM LPs...

Also, I've been having a tough-time, against double-winged power loopers, and so (once again swayed by what I'm reading on OOK), I've decided to have a separate setup to play against these relentless top-spinners ..

Last, but not the least - The inner EJ in me keeps re-surfacing from time to time ...

Yep .. these are the usual suspects .... But, they're ridiculously over-priced compared to some of the other online stores, based in Europe, such as Dandoy, TT11, TT-Max, etc...

Say, would anyone happen to know - If I buy from the above European online stores, and have it shipped to the UK, would it attract any type of Duty, or other additional government levy ?

No duties from european online stores as UK is still (for the moment) in the E.U. You should also check contra<dot>de as for 2 or more rubbers (LPs or not) the discount is very large and shipping costs is only 7Euros (6.5 uk pounds) if the order is ONLY rubbers.

But the prices would include VAT already, I suppose. If I ordered from TT11, being outside E.U., the prices would be lower since they don't charge VAT. Lucky for me table tennis stuff is tax-exempt, even if it were not, there's a minimum amount below which no import duties are not levied. Of course, European stuff is relatively expensive and there's shipping to consider.

I'm about to order Metal TT Death, D.tecs, and Tibhar Defence Plus blade, since the pricing seems favorable .... Unfortunately, contra.de does not have Dornenglanz ..

Are you sure about the no duties bit ? Just want to double-check, before ordering...

I'm guessing you could easily get merchandise in the UK from tabletennis11.com
