LSD is a very good rubber for playing close to table. Trouble maker also.

Anyway, there is no better or worse rubber, in the end its how comfortable one feels.

No, as you stated there is better or worse rubber suited for your style of play, L.S.D. isn't good for chopping long distance far from the table.

Why do you think that?
We played far from the table, and reverse of the spin was amaizing good.
I didn't noticed that LSD Extra Long isn't good to play far from the table.

I think this is a individual case about "more suitable" rubbers for this purpose, but I only introduce my opinion - someone of course should has other opinion in this case ;) In fact - when I played this rubber in distance - for opponent was very heavy to play 3-4 topspins one by one.
