Hey everyone, during this pandemic I've been able to train a little. If things ever get back to normal I plan to start playing the U.S. Nationals every year, in both rated doubles and singles events. Current rating is 1866.

I've noticed most players in the USA that play long pips as I do, under 2000 tend to be more hitters than loopers. It is also true for my game however my hitting game is often 85 to 90% consistent.

I flip my racket often, as a mental distraction, but can use either surface on either side for most service returns. My game, in singles is very close to the table while in doubles I tend to play "centerfield".

I tend to roll with my red Neptune .7mm long pips and as a rule I roll to my opponents forehand (the forehand, in the relaxed position, is naturally closed) a dead ball into a closed racket is usually an automatic point.

Here is a match versus a counter-driver, who I've pretty much figured out. Comments and recommendations for improvement are welcome.

Bend you knees a bit and you wont miss some of the easy shots. Other than that you play good and I like your twidling (flipping). How is neptune for attacking game (hit or topspin lower spin balls). What is the size of your (child) blade? Thanks

Neptune pips are pretty good for attacking underspin (chop) and for chop blocking topspin. Here is the blade I use and highly recommend, though it would be a tad slow for most players. I will try to get lower and I need to move more, thanks for the advice.

Just received Neottec Tokkan long pips but because of the pandemic been playing mostly all inverted, DHS PF4, old school Chinese rubber, and having a great time slow looping on the backhand and flat hitting on the forehand.
