I'm injured by a serious motorcycle accident, the left knee can't rotate more tha 15-20º also the left leg is shorter than the right leg & I'm 62 years old. Not for me more speed, speed plays against my game to play close to the table. Agree to have a strong FH, yesterday I bought a BTY Dignics 64 1.9 mm black to improve mine game.

Yesterday tried the BTY Dignics black 1.9mm for FH, it's a lot easy to play with this rubber without doubt I keep the rubber waiting the glue wil dry & improves the rubber for sure. I'm happy the only downside it's the price.

I understand when people have injuries.Also, as you get older ,you are not so fast in your movements.That's why I said : if you keep fit and injury free, speed is the road to go .

It is also praiseworthy to play tt with an injury or physical impairment.

If you ask a pro about their physical training, they will tell you they have gym sessions too so as to strengthen key muscles .We, in the amateur world,should also strengthen key muscles not only for the sport but also for living with a certain quality in your life, especiallly after the 50s .

I always have pain at left knee, it's a is a type of pain that only allows me to sleep 3 or 4 hours in a row so I spend 9 or 10 hours to sleep well, a lot of days I'm very tired because don't sleep well.

I see.I guess it must be so hard to live like that.I wish you the very best !! .It is praiseworthy to practise tt on that condition .

I guess you can play tt in the physically impaired category .Then, you can play on the same conditions as the rest of the players .

Thank you for the best wishes, I miss a lot when I was young playing both wings with inverted, speed glue, Stiga super carbon & a couple of BTY Sriver L max. in both sides what fond memories playing 2-3 meters far from the table with the bat barely touching the ground, I miss a lot my strong BH topspin. Here not handicaped league it's only one month playing person vs person not clubs involved & if memory serves only in one place: FCTT (Catalona Federation of Table Tennis) in Barcelona far 64 km where I live.
