Ordered two black ones from tabletennisonly. I’m fairly familiar with Dr N’s Superblock so can’t wait to try this one out and compare. Some of the reversal on Superblock has been lost with the new ball. However, if Dawei is as slow as the SB, it would definitely be an interesting rubber to play with. I’ll probably play with it next week.

I don't know about anyone else, but it really bugs me that Dawei has not just copied the name, but also the cover. :swear:

I agree that reversal is lost with the new ball and Super Block is not that dangerous as it was, but control and some of the reversal is still there.
I also tried old Dr Neubauer Scalpel with the new ball and it looks to me that due to the harder pips it has better reversal and disturbing effect, it looks more dangerous than super block, but also a bit faster.

When I searched I only saw shops in Indonesia and Malaysia. Those sites weren't in English so I couldn't order there.

There is a legit website in Thailand called Eastern ping pong. The website is ONLY in Thai but you can do business with the owner via LINE app. There is a code you can scan on the web to get in contact with him.He knows English , no problem but you will have to pay about 300 baht for shipment, which is around 9 / 10 €. Therefore, the price will be increased significantly from around 18 € to 28 € if you buy one sheet .

Maybe you can get to an agreement if you buy in bulk . :) :) :)

Just received it. Looks and feels nothing like the Dr N’s Superblock. I’ll glue it on the Andro Defcon blade which is medium speed and play this Thursday. I’ll let you know

The blurb says : frictionless surface.Let's see if this is true.If not, it is a disgrace the ITTF lets the brand mislead some players and even worse , if FL pips are banned, how can the ITTF allow such a blurb to be written on a legal LP back cover?

Look and wonder !!!

It’s not frictionless, I can assure you of this. And yes, the back of the package states that it is.

Played with it for two hours tonight. I like it! It’s a bit faster than the Dr N’s Superblock and the reversal isn’t quite the same. However, from my experience, this is probably the closest thing to Superblock that I’ve tried. The reversal is decent and it even wobbles sometimes. It’s great against the loops if you chop block and attacking is pretty easy. Not whole lot to complain about. I’ll stick with it for now.

How similar is it to Dawei 388D ?
