Blade: XVT Hinoki Balsa Carbon
FH: DHS TG3
BH: Bomb Talent ox
~2 months ago I stuck an XVT glue sheet with some Dawei 388D-1 ox on my Yinhe Y-13.
I wanted to change the rubber, so I took it off.
Only now, there are big chunks of the glue sheet left on my blade.

Any idea how to remove the glue sheet from my paddle?

It’s funny, I was wondering the same thing...those XVT glue sheets sure are cheap. I was thinking maybe using a hot iron with a piece of paper between the blade and the iron? Hoping the glue would come off onto the paper without damage to the blade...

Or try using Ronson lighter fluid. It does a pretty good job softening rubber-based cements, so it might work here if it can get under the glue sheet. The more expensive glue sheets (Andro, Xiom, etc.) have a "strong side" and a "weak side". The strong side sticks to the rubber, the weak side is towards the blade. This allows you to remove and reattach the rubbers at will.
