I have tried several long pimples but am not sure. I am looking for a long pimples rubber mostly for chopping away from table with maximum possible
under spin and not with what you all call disturbing effect (meant for blocking style they said) . I have heard of Feint Long 3 but seems too expensive. I cannot make up mind. What is maximizing under spin based on in selecting a long pips rubber ?
I am only more confused

Can you suggest some rubbers.

Thanks

You don't necessarily need a long pimple with the most grip, as the spin returned from a loop is a combination of the incoming spin and the spin you add.
Players use long pimples not just to return heavy topspin but also to control it and take off the pace. If high grip was all you needed, you might as well use inverted rubbers.

The TSP Curl p1-r is the most popular for this, with a sponge as thick as you can handle. Tibhar Dtecs also returns very high backspin but is more expensive and a little harder to control.

German CONTRA inventory catalogue indicates "frictional capacity" for many pimpled rubbers.

Be happy.

Ma Te uses Palio CK531a with 1.5 mm. sponge. It is a relatively cheap LP.
Wang Xi plays with Donic Spike P1, before it was Curl P1R.

If money is a concern, I'd recommend Milky Way Neptune.
Still a very good long pimple rubber for chopping. From a pure chopping perspective, I prefer it to much more expensive Japanese chopping pips. I also know a defensive player in a higher up German league who switched to Neptune from Curl P1.

KTL Stranger should be the spinniest pimples ever. The ball will stick to the pips for a while when it is held downwards.

I use this. It is the spinniest but not because ball sticking to pips, which is a deliberate fraud or mistake from sellers.
It also has least disturbing effect of all pips I tried. I use the OX version but did not like sponge version.
Looks like there was a packaging error somewhere at manufacturer or storage at seller (heat) or maybe manufacturer knowingly sold QC rejected stock to dealer at rock bottom price. The glue stuck to the package & the pips & when user managed to pull the pips, it became like treated pips, though it was not intent at all. I don't know how the glue got into package outside other than the sponge to top-sheet gluing. (It is very hard to remove all this glue from top of the pips)
I bought this from GHSports via AliExpress in China. As you may all know it is very difficult to to get refunds from dealers on AliExress or AliExpress itself if you are not in China (I am in Canada), because they will never admit their error. They ask for all kinds of photo evidence (& three signatures from notary public etc Ha Ha just kidding but that is how it is). When I sent photo evidence , they asked for more photos. I just gave up. Just will never buy from GHSports again.

I have purchased this rubber from other dealers on AliExpress with absolutely no problems. The pips are not glued or some deliberate chemical treatment. They are perfectly ITTF legal.

I only find it funny that some user tried to use it like (illegal) treated pips LOL

I agree with someone else said, grip is not the most important things for chop because a great deal of spin comes from the opponents loop. I feel like grippier pips like feint long 3 canactually help you generate spin especially on pushes and serve return. The grippier the lp the better possibility of hitting aggressively as you can generate just a bit of arc. The amount of sponge and blade flexiness factors into this too. Since you mostly want to chop as opposed to block, fl 2, fl3, p1-r are all tried an true, a little more expensive than cheaper Chinese but hey pips last forever. Cloud and Fog 3 is known as being quite similar to the butterfly rubbers as well. I only used it for a short while but they seemed nice too.

Yes, this KTL tacky pips are using a most peculiar rubber composition that is known as Dr. Fisher's tacky nitrozamines formula. The best suitable cleaner on this tacky material will be some alcohol liquids rather than water.
