OOAK Table Tennis Forum :: Green Grass DTecS

I am sticking with Grass DTecS in green. Excellent control and in my opinion good reversal.
Each to his own. I have used these pips in Ox for many seasons and continue to enjoy a lot of success with them.

I have to agree with an earlier comment that using anything other than black or red for a twiddler is just making it a whole lot easier for your opponent to know when you are hitting with the lp. I twiddle in almost every point, so it would seriously hurt my game.

Even if you don’t twiddle, the green or blue color might still serve as a reminder that it is a lp hit and the opponent will adjust in consequence.

Besides being fun, I don’t see any upside to using the colors for lp competitive play.

I played 6 months green version. Rubber is in the same condition like I bought.

I have played with DTecs both red for several years on & off,

now green for over 6 months never had broken pips

I use anti and dont really like playing against dtecs or p1r.i think that those 2 give the best effect .

Besides being fun, I don’t see any upside to using the colors for lp competitive play. I have figured out a solution to this. I can have 2 blades, one with Green Grass Dtecs and Black inverted. One with Black Grass Dtecs and Green inverted.

"dony71" I have found DTecS to be very robust, I have used the green LP for over a year now & it is still as good as when I started with it. In fact in my experience both red & green are very durable. Absolutely no broken pips

You,D.techs users, say that the green version has more reversal.I have been wondering how you have come to this conclusion.I mean, how do you gauge that extra reversal or is it just based on the feeling of it? . It is also alleged that the green version is slower.Ok, this is more easily provable if you always use the same blade.I can give credit for that.Nonetheless,I am not so sure about the green version having more reversal . Also, I have another more important question imo.Is the dampening effect better in the green version?.Then, if is is so,it is obvious that the green version should yield better results .

You can play one pcs for a long time.
