We have made a new review video of the long pips Brutal OX no sponge version and 1mm version, a really entertaining rubber to play with!

BH: Metal TT Brutal (ox)
I have been struggling to find an LP-rubber that gives a low trajectory from distance defense together with a huge amount of back spin. Furthermore I like if the rubber can be used to side-sweep/push short services and produce enough speed on such returns. I tried the Brutal (ox) and I think this is the closest I can get to my wishes. First I tried it on a Victas Balsa defensive blade but without success. For me it worked better on a Stiga Classic Off blade. FL3 ox has very good control but is slow and the opponent can easily loop against my chops. Other rubbers I tested: Milky Way ox (less control), TSP curlp4 1.0mm (worked okay), Tibhar Grass 0.9mm (very high trajectory for me). Now I can only hope that the pimples will survive for a while since the rubber is quite expensive.

Hi tried the Brutal red ox for practice and the pre seasontournamount. Actually won the pre season tournamount. Brutal ox with the Halling Blade. The combination worked very well. Great blade and great long pimple. Good spin reversal from heavy topspin loops. Very versatile in a attack and blocking.

Hi

Can anyone compare Brutal with Donerglandz (speed, control, deception, block, defense mud distance, etc...)
Could this rubber be used effectively on a mazunov blade??

Thanks

I must admit - I find the names they often give to Long Pips rubbers rather entertaining. Sort of what a Heavy Metal band would use (I suppose that's why the brand is "Metal TT" ). The illegal ones have the best names, especially the Indonesian ones. Jahanam. Pit Bull. Criminals.
