This is a video of a former Chinese Provincial team long pimples player. I don't know which province.

In case you are wondering, the "wider" guy plays long pimples, red side is long pimples, no idea what kind. But it sounds and plays like it is with some sponge, if I have to guess, will be 1.0 to 1.5mm. Most really good long pimples player prefers some sponge

This is normal when players more advanced plays long pips with the sponge far from the table because game on more advanced level is very difficult to play close to the table - in other words, players don't have much chances to stay close to the table because opponents has very good, fast topspin and push them back from the first or second ball.
In distance play long pimples on OX is unuseless or advanced level that is why players has sponge on more advanced level of the game.

It's the same guy. But in that thread, Somebody mentioned the commentator says he is playing with OX. Which, I would be suprised, but if he really is playing OX, certainly he gives me inspiration to try out some shots. Actually even if he is playing with sponge, I will still try some of his shots with my OX LP

I ripped the video and re-edited it to 1/4 speed. His backhand counters are certainly interesting. I will try them out

Definitely worth a try! He's great at it, and there's a lot to learn. At least for me, because I'm not that experienced.

The famous woman player He Zhuojia. She also plays LP on the BH agressively. She uses 1.3mm sponge. Many people think that she use MP on BH but she said clearly about her 1.3mm LP on BH in one interview. There is another Japan less famous woman player 出澤杏佳 ラケット. She also uses LP on the BH and play agressively. However she uses OX. BTW 出澤杏佳 uses SP on the FH (VICTAS 102).
