No need to for this one since it wasn't a factory sponge. I glued that sponge with water-based glue, so it was very easy to remove the rubber from sponge and then removing all the excess glue was super easy as well. Reglued it back to the same blade in OX perfectly this time lol. I will be using your idea to remove the factory sponge from a Giant Dragon Dragon Talon soon though. I tried removing it without your method, but it isn't coming off without ironing as you suggested. Thanks again for sharing.

I tried removing a 0.7mm factory stuck sponge on a Yinhe 955 long pips sheet using the iron method a long while back but to no avail. :sweat: It stubbornly did not budge a bit! :o
