Interesting that Yinhe Mars, Mercury and 9000 will not be renewed. Mercury II (I suspect this is the same thing - same topsheet) is very popular, 9000 is a very inexpensive rubber that's pretty good, too. To be honest, there are way too many rubbers in many product lines - but I am surprised to see these three being removed. Iskandar |

It’s just showing the list of rubbers that will reach their expiration date for approval. Doesn’t mean they won’t be renewed. Some of them are great seller rubbers for Yinhe and no doubt will be renewed when the time comes. |

LoL, what the actual f*ck? Why would ever a rubber be deapproved? Also it is interesting rubbers made in the 60's or 70's are not getting deapproved. I mean, then why are not the Mark V or the Sriver getting deapproved then? |

For it to stay ITTF approved, a manufacturer has to pay annual fees, and every few years send new sample to the ITTF for testing. If you don't pay the fees or send the samples, your rubber will drop off the LARC (ITTF approved list).

Mercury and Mars are popular beginner and mid rubbers. Sad to see those discontinued. MarkV prices has risen quite a bit in my country. So I guess 729 and Palio rubbers are mostly the only choices left. Sent from my LM-G910 using Tapatalk |

Yinhe has made new molds to include larc reg number on the top sheet. its just a change of topsheet mold |

Ah. I remember the "double listings" of a lot of DHS and Reactor rubbers a few years back. Both the new "numbered" topsheets and the old "numberless" topsheets were legal over the space of two or three years, to allow old stock to get sold off and used. Looking at the LARC - this is indeed the case. https://equipment.ittf.com/#/equipment/racket_coverings (Select "Milky Way" for the brand.) The three soon-to-be dropped rubbers appear together with their new numbered counterparts. They're apparently also rebranding the rubbers - 9000 becomes "Moxa 9000" (49-020), Mercury becomes "Moxa Mercury" (49-021), and Mars becomes "Max Tense Mars" (49-024). A bunch of others are also getting numbers. On Page 2 you will see all of the old non-numbered sheets listed, at least for now. I wonder if they'll still sell "Moxa Mercury II" and "Max Tense Mars III" or if they'll take the opportunity to drop the supplemental designations. They're offering these relabeled rubbers in four colors, too (interestingly, not the same four colors across the whole line). Iskandar |

Hi Guys If a rubber is taken off the list does it mean that it can no longer be used in competitions? I know at least 2 players who use Joola Anti Toni Hold and it appears to have been discontinued. Bulldog |

Technically the old one (without that number) will no longer be valid, but the rubber is likely to be identical otherwise, and I suspect most umpires/referees would not even check the exact graphics on a rubber sheet. |

Including the legendary Toni Hold anti? I still have a bat with that stuff on both sides that I use sometimes for fun. |
