Got to play for about 20 minutes with this rubber as I wanted to see how the rubber was suited for a blocking style.
1. Blade/Style/Level
Rubber was glued to a TTMaster Sensitive Defence blade. I'm playing a blocking style, mostly backhand at mid US 2100 level (Current rating 2160 which translates approximately to lower Landesliga/Verbandsliga in Germany or Austria)

2. Physical properties
The pips are pretty grippy with textured pips tops. They are fairly soft and I would consider them to be medium hard, bordering soft. My sheet was red and OX - no sponge. I did remove the glue sheet that the rubber comes with and used water glue to glue it. I don't like to use glue sheets.
Pips geometry seemed fairly regular.
3. Speed:
a) The speed of the rubber at low impact, such as return of serves, short pushes was similar to SE7EN block or Meteor 8512.
b) The speed when blocking against fast loops was fairly slow. The medium to soft pips really helped to take the pace of hard hits. However, the rubber is unforgiving. If you don't block it "clean", the block against hard hits will go long.
4. Spin and reversal.
Reversal on this rubber is basically non existing. A passive block would usually produce a dead ball.

5. Sensitivity to spin:
When blocking against hard hits, the rubber keeps the ball low and produces a sinking ball. However, against slow and spinny loops, you have to close the angle to be able to block them low.
6. Control:
Control was good when pushing and blocking against low to medium spin.. However, against heavy, slow spin, you have to angle the racket almost like with short pips. Against high speed shots however, the blocks stayed low and short.
The control when chopping away from the table was incredible and a significant amount of spin could be produced. However, this really isn't my style. Control for chop-blocking is great and a nice amount of spin can be produced. Hitting with it was fairly easy against chop and dead balls. However, blocking against dead balls was not the rubbers strength.. I often blocked dead balls long.
8. Reference:
It plays like a slower version of Feint Long II with more grip

I liked the way the rubber played and will spend some more time with it on Tuesday..

Very nice review, thanks Pushblocker!

As a rubber that's claimed to be one of the best chopping rubbers, it did not do too badly as a blocking rubber. Of course most choppers would use a sponge, which would enhance the chopping properties and will probably reduce the control for blocking...

The chopping and chop-block ability of this rubber was incredible. This is the perfect rubber to manipulate spin. You can block dead or produce incredible chop just by adjusting blocking technique. The only thing that you can't do is to produce topspin from chop like with rubbers with better reversal.. However, the ability to manipulate spin with it makes up for it..

I was refering to being able to create topspin from a chop by BLOCKING.. I didn't specify that but that's what I meant.. Of course, just like with most long pips, you can hit against chop which will then be topspin (i.e. with the same technique as attacking with anti). I did not see a way how to produce topspin by blocking.. I don't think that you can consider a stroke to be a block if the racket goes up when hitting the ball, it's more like a counter or a hit rather than a block.

Any low friction long pips rubber.. Saviga V for example produces some topspin against chop when pushing/blocking. I also got a nice reversal with a HALLMARK Phoenix. I heared that Amsir Flutter also does create topspin when blocking/pushing against chop. 388D-1 also has some reversal as does PALIO CK531a. However, of course it isn't as much topspin as with the outlawed frictionless pips but enough to throw off opponents..
The faster the blade, the more reversal you will get.. Also, taking the ball off the bounce will also add to reversal..
The best reversal on a legal rubber that I have seen was a HALLMARK Phoenix on a Dr. Neubauer High Technology blade (OFF blade). A fellow pips player let me try his combo and I was impressed on how similar to frictionless his unmodified Phoenix on his fast blade played..
