Hi,

I stumbled upon an old sheet of spinpips 1.5 and really like them.
Super easy to play with them. Lots of control. Ez to block and attack
with. But not super dangerous or extremely fast.

Is there annybody who can compare them to moristo? Or even to waran

Playing on SDC viscaria

Cheers
Pieter

Just noticed it are TSP super spinpips 1.5

I also have spinpips red 1.8 - 2. They seem faster.

Do you know what the difference is and also how they would compare to more modern alternatives?

And I noticed Tsp is victas now. Spinpips are D1 D2 D3. Why did they change the names? What is what?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but Victas owned the TSP brand and just decided to consolidate all of the rubbers under their Victas name.

I think D1 is more or less the original spectol. With D2 and D3 being new variants with tensor type sponge.

When you say Moristo do you mean the original SP. Or later versions like AX. All will be faster and spinnier than the original Spectol. SP maybe closet to the new D2 and D3 .

Yes my mistake S1 is the new Spectol with S2 and S3 being the new faster versions, the D versions being the spinner ones.

Is anyone not confused with Victas naming/ numbering
.

S2 or S3 both having vertical pips would be comparable to Moristo SP, but the spinnier D series would I believe be closer to the newer AX series.

I tried S1 in 2mm and its major disapointment, no sink very lame.

I have played with TSP Super Spin Pips 21, and currently play with Moristo SP 1.8. I found the TSP to be more sensitive to spin, especially high quality loops. I quit playing with it, and switched to Moristo, and am very satisfied with it.
