Hi guys,

Not asking for myself, but for two club mates. They played with this SP until it was removed from the ITTF list. They tried several other pips (Pistol, Blowfish,...), but not one satisfied them in their performances. What pips play similar to Andro Revolution COR pips? They both have a close to the table attacking style, the one a bit more controlled than the other.

I posted this same question not long ago. A guy who knows a lot about pips said he thought two SP that played similar to Andro COR were JOOLA Ultra Tango and Nittaku Moristo SP. The JOOLA is a Tensor like the Andro, and the Nittaku Moristo is "high tension". He said he's played with all 3 rubbers. They're all very spinny and he felt they had similar hardness.

sorry to say I can't confirm his findings, as I've never played with Andro COR, so I can't make a comparison. The reason I posted the question on Andro COR was not because I had played with it before, but only because I saw a Youtube video where this kid is playing with Andro COR. He's using them on his BH to easily control all of his opponents' backspin serves and pushes. Then he simply uses his inverted rubber FH to finish the points. In fact I just started with SP a short time ago. I can say the JOOLA Ultra Tango is quite spinny and quite fast, as advertised - certainly much more so than "classic" SP. I haven't tried the Moristo SP.
