Assembling a pips-out sandwich would be a lot less problematic than assembling inverted sandwich, as far as the gluing goes. I'd glue and trim the sponge to the blade first, then glue the topsheet on top of the sponge. This is what Chinese players used to do back in the 1960s and 70s, I've been told.
The problem is where to get a good sponge for SP..I cant buy gold palm trading sponge since eacheng charges a lot for shipping any product
).. but perhaps you can. Buy all, mount them on the same blade (two at a time, of course!), and try the same shots with them. And then tell us about it. They don't cost THAT much, do they? I mean, it's not like buying sheets of Tenergy or Tensors.
