Ok, back to the original topic. I owned the moristo a few years ago. My opinion is horizontal/vertical alignment actually doesn't matter that much. What does matter is the pips hardness and friction. Moristo is low in both departments, but rather high in the bouncy/speed area. If you adjust your stroke to be more direct and compact, it can be a very effective choice. Not the kind of pips I like, but if you can emulate Ms. Ito's punches, I'm sure you will grow to like it.

Back to the other topic, I don't have either anymore to compare, but the 105's topsheet is a little little bit harder (but still soft), slightly grippier, sponge softer, and a little slower, but otherwise plays similar to the Moristo. Welcome to the dark side Mr. Taib.

SANWEI GHOST 1.8 soft sponge came to my hands last week. This is that Mima likes most, I believe/
