Hi! I have a friend who uses Stiga Royal on both BH and FH for blocking and hitting close to the table. Royal is getting harder to buy and it will be discontinued soon. What SP is similar? He likes a lot of control, so not faster, not tensor-effect or so. And about the same grip and feeling.

Is one of the Victas SP similar?
Spectol looks a little similar but for me Spectol was difficult with not enough grip. Would Waran work?

I can only suggest to seek for visually similar pips size and geometry rubber. But the ball have changed so new rubbers can be better now even if they are not similar to the old rubber model.

That is true. But he is used to the new ball. so do you know any existing rubber that feels and plays similar?

I think He Zhi Wen played Royal after Friendship 802.
So they are very similar. Perhaps as the Mystery-version with a softer more dynamic sponge.
