I've tried the Dr.Evil a couple of times at my club and I confirm that is a very low-grip SP rubber.
I've glued a 1,5mm dampening sponge onto it because I like to play with a slow and low spin-sensitive rubber on my backhand coupled with a faster and spinny forehand.
Compared to my previous Spectol in 1.5mm is totally a different play. Except for the difference in speed, I like Dr.Evil very much in many areas of the game:
-Control: due to the dampening sponge the control is very high but largely depends on the quality of the pips, which are pips are soft and elastic. But you need to be active.
-Spin: obviously is a frictionless rubber so no spin at all, right? Not at all! this rubber is capable of both spin/no spin shoots, it depends on your racket angle! No spin balls are returned if you hit perpendicularly the ball, but with a minimum racket angle, you can generate spin balls thanks to the soft and elastic pips. Passive blocks are really hard to control and generate no-spin balls, but with a minimum of activity and angle modification, you can return balls with different levels of spin. So definitely spin variation capability is the best quality of this rubber!
I was able to flip services, do chop-blocks, top-blocks and side-blocks, push (and return) the spin, smash and generate good spin in chopped balls.
Of course, I need to be more adapted to this rubber, and I already understand that I need a faster sponge because I'm using a lot of force to return the ball and this makes it hard to modulate the spin variation and reduces the overall control during the game!
I'm really curious to try the rubber with an attack sponge for a comparative test!

we have tried it in 2mm at out club but a bit harmless except good against LP's due to its ability to play no spin balls

I did a little research on frictionless SP rubbers. First, I looked on manufacturers' websites or catalogues for the spin values assigned to the rubbers, using their scale of values (i.e. 6/10...I only selected the rubbers with the lowest proposed spin values).
Then, I searched Revspin.net and two table tennis equipment retailers (Megaspin.net and Contra.de) for the values assigned to the selected rubbers. I calculated the spin value in % to have a comparison between the different groups. Finally, I averaged the spin values to have a balanced result. In the attached pdf you will find the ranking of the SP rubbers with the least spin values (right green column).
Certainly, this research is not very robust from a scientific point of view, but its purpose was only to give a numerical based point of view of the degree of frictionless SP rubbers.
