I like this rubber but the sponge is too fragile.I love the spin resistance but I need something similar.

Sonic AR? When you say Beautry is fragile, in what sense? Rapid degradation in the hitting zone? Sponge ripping when removing/reinstalling?

Sponge ripping. Sonic has the same spin resistance and control?

Use of a glue sheet would allow you to remove/replace without risk of damaging the sponge. My Sonic AR is a 1.4mm so I can't directly compare it to my thicker Beautry. But it does have vertical pips, low throw, and high speed.. faster than Beautry and certainly louder. I was unable to get any lift out of Sonic AR so I shelved it early on but I recall it being very entertaining to use!
